I wish I understood this many years ago. Our old Dell Inspiron 15R model increased the download speed from 30 Mbit/s to over 200 Mbit/s. The dual channel solution was correct. Installation was easy (including prying/lifting the keyboard out of the case). I did it once, so I had a rough idea of how it works. You need a small slotted screwdriver. A plastic tool might be preferable, but I used a small jeweler's metal screwdriver and worked slowly. There are small holes on the sides and top of the keyboard. Work on it slowly. After removing the sides and top, simply gently pull the entire assembly away from you. Installation requires a very small jeweler's Phillips screwdriver and small pliers with needles. A pair of pliers is required to pull out the two small coaxial cable plugs. Then there is a tiny screw that holds the wireless adapter in place. That's fine work. A flashlight or a good table lamp is recommended. The difference in performance is amazing!
