So this remote works as expected and replaces the IR remote that came with my original purchase. I paid for expedited shipping so I got it earlier. The seller shipped the item via USPS Priority Mail, but the post office did not deliver the item on the scheduled date. I went to the post office to find out what had happened because online tracking said "Not delivered to the address provided." Apparently the remote was placed in the wrong carrier's car during sorting, and instead of on the appointed day To be delivered, this person took it back to the post office and scanned it as "not delivered to address". After a visit to my local postmaster and a personal call from the carrier who had screwed everything up, I received the removal a day later. I would like the seller to use a reliable carrier such as Fed-Ex or UPS. I had to look for my package and luckily found it before it was returned to sender.
