I don't know who packed the snap with such a short antenna wire. What an idiot. With about 50 cents more wire, this 20 foot cable makes a lot more sense. I removed the 11 foot antenna that came with a latch. It's also from Belkin, so functionally it's a perfect fit. The longer cable allowed the truck deck installation with cables routed under the carpets and up to the console of my Mazda 3. Nice job with a few feet of headroom (rolled up and tucked under the console, of course). If you've never had one, the magnet is strong so you don't need to glue or make a permanent installation. I've had it for many weeks, maybe months, and the antenna has never moved.
