This product saved my life! I have an old GMC truck and was trying to turn the AC back on (living in Florida, life without AC can be difficult!). The 3/8" aluminum air conditioner line that went to the condenser had a crack and I could only imagine how much a new line would cost. The next consideration was to disconnect the evaporator from the dash. This fitting in Aircraft quality allowed me to take a piece of 3/8" aluminum pipe with a fitting from a junkyard donor truck and connect it to the current 3/8" pipe. It worked like a charm! (AC is on the vent dropped to 35 degrees.).
