I recently got a .40" Addi Turbo Lace Needle Bought with gold cord and I love it.For making magic loop socks it couldn't be better.Unfortunately these needles are not the same.In the picture they are shown with a red cord which I've heard has flexible as the gold cord. However, the needles came with blue cord which is much stiffer. Also, the tips are less sharp than other needles. To make socks out of fine yarn you really need a sharp needle. I believe , these are actually Sock Rockets because they are a lot smoother than the Lace needles I've bought recently Knitters have different preferences depending on their knitting style For me these are Na ok, but not outstanding. There is a lot of confusion in the descriptions of these needles. Since they cost a lot more, it would be nice to be sure of what you're getting!
