It really works in building materials

After reading many reviews about this product I was still hesitant but bought it anyway. After using a tube and essentially destroying it and trying to figure out how to work with it, I reluctantly read the instructions. Shake the container as directed. After shaking, press the tip against a hard surface in an up and down motion. Do this until you can remove some of the white material. Don't press too hard on the tip as it is quite fragile. From time to time, use the same motion on the tiles to squeeze out the liquid. I used this material for bathroom/bathroom tiles. All tiles are vertical and you have to keep pressing the tip against the tile to squeeze the liquid out. Remember, don't press the tip too hard or it will break. Each squeeze gives you a small amount of liquid. With enough liquid, you can begin to move the device through the joints, sometimes slightly, sometimes slowly. Just remember that a strong and rough movement of the tip through the grout, which itself is rough, will remove some of the tip material. Don't be so hasty. Take your time and your finish will look professional. Sometimes they go beyond the mortar and onto the tile. Wipe off immediately. I used a piece of paper towel to wipe away the excess and that's the easiest part. Just wipe the surface of the tile, not the grout, and see what happens. All of this is easy. This is time consuming. Take your time again. By the way, according to the instructions, you can remove the tip and use the other side. I tried cutting it with scissors but it didn't work. I haven't tried a very sharp knife yet. As for the durability of the joints, I have no information, but I will post another review in a few months.
