Review on Whiskey Glasses Tumblers Drinking Chrismas by David Dortch

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good glasses, but still something to do

I just unpacked my new glasses and noticed that one of them is blowing crookedly. The inner glass does not sit vertically in the outer glass and is strongly tilted to the side. I am so happy to finally get these glasses. Just a little frustrated with this problem. Update April 24, 2019: I was pleasantly surprised by James Bentley for fixing everything by sending me a new set of points free of charge (without Revane's cut of course) as soon as they found out about my problem. I was told glasses are hand blown and since humans are imperfect this can result in glasses like mine being blown out, but that was rare. I am generally happy with the performance of these glasses as my whiskey is much more pleasant to inhale and drink in these glasses, but I also have to accept that the quality of the glasses can be improved. In addition to the problem mentioned above, there are also lines on the glass caused by the molds they are blown into, which I think unintentionally ruins the overall look of the glasses. I give James Bentley 5 stars for their customer service and do their best to make the customer happy, but in the end it is their product that bears the burden of the review. For that, I'm sticking with the 4-star rating for the lenses themselves as they could use an improvement in the shapes used.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • No effect
