I try to review almost everything I purchase in order to give honest feedback in the hopes that I save someone aggravation OR to let someone know that they can be confident that an item works as described. This tripod is no exception, unfortunately this review will be a negative one. First off I will say that the remote worked flawlessly, it connected to my iPhone 13 ProMax immediately after I turned the remote on. That’s pretty much where the positives on my review ends….oh, the actual piece that the phone goes in on top of the tripod was well made and the phone was very secure while in it.When the phone was in the tripod, if you raised it more than a couple feet it would literally lean to one side or the other to the point it looked like the tripod had a bow in it, picture the shape of a banana, not that drastic but the same shape. If I took the tripod to the limit in height, forget about it! I would definitely fall over. I wasn’t willing to take that chance, at the top of the tripod there was an arm that stuck out, intended to move the phone horizontally so you could follow a person during a video being recorded. It was so tight that it would move the tripod if you tried to pan left or right, it would have to be loosened to the point that the phone holder would be loose too! It was basically useless. I liked the fact that it was able to be raised pretty high, but it was useless. My suggestion would be to get a tripod where the three legs open up, and not the type like this with a base. Not to mention I paid $18.99 for it, the next day it dropped to &14.00, I called customer service for a price adjustment and they told me I had to return it, send it back and buy it again! That’s ridiculous! They would rather pay a driver to pick it up, bring it back to the warehouse, then pack it in a truck again and deliver it again! They would waste more money in fuel to deliver it again than they would have if they punched a couple keys on their computer and gave me the five dollars! I realize it’s only five dollars, it was the principle at that point! After all, Jeff has more money than me, that’s for sure!In closing I also want to say that the review seems very critical, I know it was less than twenty bucks, but I feel it should at least do what it’s supposed to do!In closing don’t buy this tripod! You will be disappointed! Have a great day folks!
