didn't work properly before update, didn't work well after update

I ordered mine on Jan 31st 2021 and received it in about 2-3 days (love the Revain Prime shipping) . I have a 2011 Ford Ranger, as versatile as you can imagine, but it had ABS and brake sensors that showed up on the dash. I wanted to be able to determine which speed sensor is defective so I can easily replace the defective one. The device should also display the current 4 wheel speed when connected and driving (more importantly when driving alone). ) allows you to create a report so you can just drive and then come back and watch the report replay. This is necessary for problems like mine where the sensor is good until about 40mph when (the front right sensor turns out) starts to peel off. You can't look at the screen while driving at 40mph, so you'll have to put it on record mode to see it later (or ask someone to ride with you). The problem was that the one I had worked fine. when I first tested it because I could see the sensor data when I was just moving slowly but I couldn't get a detailed report log even though I had a log (and was told it was logging) but actually nothing came up recorded. The seller told me to update the "firmware" (the process is easy if you bypass the fact that he doesn't tell you the correct file (or even the website) to download correctly), so after After some more searching on the internet I found out where there is a real website and code and I updated the code from their website. After the update the speed sensors didn't show up at all, they all came with names but showed up as 0 for speed. At least before the update it showed that there are speed sensors and they show the speed they are registering at that point, but I couldn't write them down so I could ride and then come back later and look at the data. After the update they always showed 0. Although the record worked now, showing a constant zero on all 4 wheels doesn't really help. So I decided to send the pad back, printed out the Revain return label and sent everything back in the same box. Two weeks later still no return and clicking the contact button takes you to the actual seller. It is supplied by Revain but not sold by Revain. Anyway, they (the seller) stated that they don't know where my device is. After several contacts that lasted almost a month I finally found a way to contact Revain directly and they refunded my money on February 24th (today). For me it was a bad experience in everything. They need to work on updating the firmware of the device and may also provide a firmware that actually fixes all the issues. I thought the updates to these things were just to add new vehicles and maybe some new codes, but apparently they're just using them to get the product working as well. But not in my case. I'll probably buy a similar one just not this particular model.
