I received a sample of these diapers from the hospital after the baby was born. My newborn first had diapers, then they switched to luvs. I also used haggis with my first child but didn't like it at all. However when the diaper sample turned up I was amazed at the difference to Luvs and now I'm hooked. My little boy has magical pee that shoots up and around his back (even when it's down), doesn't get into the diaper at all and gets him wet. Overalls, bedding and/or blankets for stuffing. I am happy to report that this did not happen with these diapers. The absorbent part goes up much further, leaving only an inch of space and is very effective. They don't get so soft after use and hold up very well at night. They also absorb a lot more poop so they don't cover my baby's butt as much afterwards and absorb smells better. Beautiful design is an added bonus. I wouldn't spend any extra money just for a nicer diaper. I think these are great diapers, but yes, they are expensive. I would say they are worth it, at least if you use sizes 1-3. After that, there are a lot fewer in the package (the ones on honest.com). I bought the Revain open box for $35 which is only $10 more than the large box and I am very happy with it. It's just a battered box, but the inside of the diapers are still sealed and intact.
