I'm going back to the slopes for the first time in 10 years so I needed something warm, comfortable, with a good fit and at a reasonable price. I think they meet all of the above criteria. Pulling them out of the box (eco-friendly and my hippie heart skipped a few beats) I noticed that they were insulated so I didn't have to wear a billion layers like I did. I usually do this because, yeah, I always get cold. I wore them in my house built in the 40's which doesn't keep heat well and my body warmed up immediately. I did a few squats and lunges to test the comfort/size to make sure I wouldn't hate what I bought and am considering increasing the size? No, the correct size can be found in the size chart. On squats/lunges they had enough room/stretching in my legs to bend/extend me. USELESS to me. So I'll tell you about me. So, I'm 5ft 6in tall, lean but muscular. My weight ranges from 110 to 122 depending on how much I lift versus running/cycling and how well I eat. I don't know my waist/hip measurement to be honest, but I do know my typical 0/2 size range, which is why I chose it. Light color but I think I'll wash it and if the cuff is dirty it's because I had a good time on the slopes. I also love bags. Space for hand warmers, lip balm, mints, tissues and anything else I might need as long as I'm not afraid of snow. Oh, and zippers! It's such a coating on it to keep your stuff dry. Ankle zips to extend over the alligators are gold I remember my old ol' pants had buttons that broke, that's it. I feel they are so durable with the stitching and material, I'm really excited about them and I'm so happy I have winter pants; I'm getting so warm!
