Review on 🔩 Blank Drill Bit - COLT 10152564 - 64 Inch Size by Chris Cruz

I bought this product because the picture shows it was made in Germany (the bottom drill in the picture has a white background). However, the label on this product (the 31/64 inch drill bit on the left in the picture) does not indicate that it was made in Germany and the country of origin is not listed on the drill bit itself. I took 5 of my German made bits to show the difference (the ones on the right in the picture). Each one clearly says "Made in Germany" just above the red stripe on the label. And Germany is engraved on every drill. I have many of these Colt 1015 series drills, some made in Germany and some not. In my experience the German made ones are better than the non German made ones including the 6 French made ones. This is the first time I've seen a Colt 1015 series drill with no country of manufacture, so I have to assume Colt didn't want to disclose this information (made in China?). I am annoyed that I bought it extra because the product picture shows it was made in Germany which it is not. Almost feels like a lure and a switch. Unfortunately, for the price, it's not worth sending back. Unfortunately, that goes straight into the garbage heap, which I use when I need to punch some unimportant "good enough" holes and don't want to burn through my good bits. Unfortunately, I also bought a 25/64 bit at the same time and ended up in the same unknown country of manufacture. But this picture didn't indicate that it was made in Germany. So it's my fault for not paying enough attention.
