Review on Superior Strength Duct Tape: T-Rex 242703 Brute Force, 1.88-Inch x 25-Yard, Black by Andrew Holman

Caught up in the excitement. Shame on me ShurTech Brands

I saw some amazing videos on YT and decided to try T-Rex Brute Force even though it was quite expensive for duct tape. It seems thick and durable - and it is. Actually I couldn't tear it by hand - I needed scissors or a utility knife because the base is incredibly strong. However, this is where the impressive ends. Liability is ridiculously low. I will add a video to demonstrate. I've tried this on metal, plastic and glass, using a laminating roller to press down, I've tried heating it; he just doesn't want to stay. I even thought the adhesion might need time to "heal" and came back the next day to find the same anemic adhesion - again, ruffled edges and effortless pull-ups. This tape literally works like a replacement tape. In addition, it is inconvenient to work with him, because he needs to be cut. I wouldn't mind the extra hassle if it offered a more permanent connection. If used as a rope or bandage it sure would be impressive; but if i need some rope or tape i will buy it. I wanted duct tape and there are way too many other better duct tapes available for WAY LESS. I'm not exaggerating when I say I'd rather use Dollartree/Harborfreight tape instead of T-Rex Brute Force because they actually hold up better - and that's not even considering the inflated price tag.
