Review on 🎧 Poly Savi 440 Wireless DECT Headset – Convertible (3 Wearing Styles) – PC/Mac Compatible – Teams, Zoom, Black (W440 SAVI) by Carnell Bollwitt

Google searched everywhere to see if the Plantronics Savi W440 or one of the Plantronics DECT USB sticks would work with a Polycom VVX phone. I have found nothing. So we ordered the W440 and tried it out. It worked like a champ! Call quality is good. And you can answer and hang up by pressing the button on the headset. You can walk close to your office (and not hear your desk phone ring). While the headset will play an ear ringer notifying you that the VVX phone is ready. You push the button on the W440 and boom! You speak. When you're done, press again and the call will hang up. The only disadvantage. The handset is so clear that when you hit the end key. You don't know if you hung up or not. I wish they had some sort of beep or voice prompt saying "call ended" or something. Small cons. I would also like to point out that we tested the Plantronics B300 Bluetooth USB adapters and they worked great with Polycom VVX 500 phones as well. We prefer the long-distance with DECT technology on the Savi W series. We maxed out about 100 feet before it claimed a gap. But we had to go outside with a signal through our cement and brick walls, and we're surprised we even got 100 feet. Can we take the boxes to the dumpster outside and still keep in touch? I'm sold! W440 for everyone! Next review. Test with several w440 in the office. :-)
