Review on Filter under the sink Geyser Allegro M with a plastic tank by Janis Endzelins ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

The filter was bought in February 2023 for 9600 (the cheapest offer for this model on the market in February 2023). Delivered to the point of issue the next day, the packaging is factory, new, without damage. At the point of issue, it was immediately revealed that there were no fixing clips-lock clips on many connections (they are on some connections - randomly, on other connections they are not. This was very alarming, I had to use brackets from the old Aquaphor filter system, which I actually changed. Other users you have to buy a set of clips separately. Filter installation is simple. The instruction is quite detailed, following it, there will be no problems. The length of the tubes is sufficient, some had to be cut. I did not unscrew the filter flasks, I must say that they are tightened quite well from the factory, but it is better to double-check, if necessary, further tighten. The plastic tank valve is installed without the use of additional threaded seals (as it is standardly equipped with a sealing rubber), and it will not work to wind the fum tape or plumbing normally, since the thread is very deep in the seat. There were no leaks after the first run. Flushed the system by full filling/draining three times. Water from the "mineralized" main at first tastes terrible, I had to drain it a little each time. Mineralized and non-mineralized water is saturated with small air bubbles. The drinking water faucet looks mega cheap, flimsy and leaks water a little on the spout, occasionally dripping. For comparison, in the old Aquaphor system, the faucet was of better quality. In general, for the first week of use, there were no problems. I recommend to buy. Among the shortcomings: a flimsy drinking water faucet and the absence of fixing brackets-lock clips on many (most) connections. If the manufacturer reads this review, please contact me and send me a set of locking clips

Pros
  • Possibility of using water with mineralization and without mineralization.
Cons
  • Lack of locking clips (fixing brackets) on most joints. Will have to purchase separately. The manufacturer, apparently, is not interested in consumer reviews, every time the same problem scares away customers. The faucet on the spout passes water, occasionally dripping.
