Review on 🚲 RockShox 30 Silver TK Fork: 26", 100mm, Coil, 9mm QR, Crown Adjustment, 1-1/8" Aluminum Steerer, Disc and Rim Brake Compatibility by Chakravarthi Ladner

This was an upgrade from a basic no damper spring fork found on most bikes under $600 like my 2005 Giant. Me can't believe I've waited so long for true hydraulic damping, it greatly improves control on technical trails. The lockout function is not complete, but significantly limits movement with hydraulic compression damping. At 150 pounds, the spring that came with the kit seems perfect, fully open or maybe a notch (out of three I think) preload. The rebound setting is a little harder to figure out as it only has a small range of adjustment, but the range seems to perfectly match the spring rate for my weight. I am completely satisfied with the function of the fork, it does what is advertised. It's fairly light, not very stiff like the more expensive models, but adequate for the terrain it's intended for.
