This lock is of exceptional quality. This makes the former castle look like a marionette. I like that the unlocking mechanism is a metal lever. No more ropes or the like. My precious lock never clicked. This closes with a satisfying "click". The only thing to consider is that the latch hardware is thicker and you need 1/3 to 1/2 inch clearance between the gate and the jamb. I didn't have any, so I had to carve a pole and gate a bit. Installation was a little tricky, but it was worth it! Excellent self-locking mechanism!
