Review on 💧 Enhance Water Quality with the Smith AO CWM Machine Pitcher Filter by Michael Barry

I bought this from Home Depot and hated every minute of owning it! Let's start by saying that when the device is working properly, it is VERY noisy. I hear someone in my house getting a glass of water several rooms away. But I was willing to ignore it if he did his job well. It's not like this. The first one I bought just stopped working. The light turned purple and it refused to work after about 6 months of ownership. After trying to restart it and then calling support, the device was found to be defective and a new device had to be sent. I had to buy a replacement water jug while waiting 3 weeks for a new unit to be delivered. The second device only worked for a couple of months before accidentally deciding to stop operating when the water button was pressed. There were no indicator lights to show anything was wrong, or any error codes to suggest what might be wrong. None of the parts are broken, the machine just doesn't filter the water sometimes and I never know when it works and when it doesn't. I had to keep gallons of filtered water in reserve in case the filter decided it was going to stop working. That's the biggest waste of $126 I've ever spent and the most frustrating year I've ever had. Just trying to find an easy way to get pure tasting water. I figured this device would be an easy answer for a renter who isn't allowed to install a filtration system and hasn't had much luck with devices that connect to a faucet. Boy was I wrong. Find another solution because this water filter will only empty your bank account. If you want to argue with a family member about stupid gadgets, you've come to the right place! It's loud, it's obnoxious, it never works properly, and I can't tell you how many arguments we got into because one of us insisted it could be fixed. Save your money and sanity and buy something else.
