Not in love but I think I agree

What I like:* I have excellent vision through the mask.* Hearing impaired patients can see my mouth when I speak, making communication easier than wearing an N95 mask.* I don't wear the same PPE with colleagues .* I feel well protected and if something urgent happens to the patient, I can react quickly.* The battery lasts a long time. What I don't like: *The mask is heavier than expected.* It took me quite a while to adjust and it still leans forward and slides down and presses on my brows unless it's like that tight around my head that i caused it headache. I ordered a crown support. Hope that helps. * The elastic around my face is irritating - not as bad as the N95 Turquoise mask - but for the price, I want to be comfortable. * The leather cord is very long and there doesn't seem to be a good fix for the long end other than cutting it off. * Wearing PAPR for a 12-hour shift causes back pain. current circumstances. It seems to be doing the job we want. My main complaint is that for the equivalent of a mortgage payment, I expected it to be comfortable to wear. No, that is not so. I feel distracted by the elastic band, the interfering chin, the mask slipping off my face, and the lower back pain from the PAPR belt. I will prioritize safety over comfort and deal with it. If I knew what wearing it was like, I would look for other options.

Pros
  • Includes face seal
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.
