I bought it on sale for $32. For such a price I am ready to forget about the problems. However, if you want a good product with attention to detail, this product is not for you. The style of the item is described as antique bronze. The actual color is solid gray with hand-painted copper edges. It's definitely noticeable when you're just a few meters away from it. The hand-drawn edges wouldn't be so bad if they were edited more cleanly. In my photos/videos you can see that the paint was applied unevenly and looks dirty/cheap. The lampshade is frayed and marked, which is surprising given the amount of tape used to attach the pieces to the styrofoam shipping container. Traction is a bit grippy, but the base is heavy enough that I don't think it'll tip over if I'm careful. The light is not centered in the shadow. If I turn it to the left it's less visible, I just have to rearrange the table. I've read some other reviews that the base is plastic but I think it looks more like cheap tin or aluminum. It's not steel or iron, let alone antique bronze, but I don't think anyone would expect that from this lamp. Overall I think she looks good from afar and up close. I think other sellers can offer better products for less money, but here at Revain there aren't many options in this style and price range.
