Review on πŸ”’ Snug Fastener Coated Phillips SNG71: Ultimate Screw Solution for Enhanced Security by Christopher Millet

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Decent screws with some quality control issues. Recommended

When it comes to screws, I only care about three things: 1.) Does the tip make good contact with the screw? If the end of the screw becomes blunt and/or doesn't penetrate the wood, it's a bad screw. 2.) Is the head rounded (provided you use the correct nozzle)? 3.) Does the screw have a burr? In this case, all criteria are met. The screws work fine. also in hardwood. I didn't tighten any of the screws (out of 10 or so) with an electric or manual screwdriver. As for the quality of the finish, the results were mixed - while there weren't any that I would call flawed, around 5% of them had minor surface defects. It's hard to tell if that means the bolts are fully plated, so keep that in mind. Also, I really don't feel like they are any worse than what you would find at the average hardware store. highlighted.

  • Wood screw
Cons
  • Requires socket
