Like many others, it "clicks" when the engine is running. It doesn't click when the engine is off and the key is turned to the "Aux/Accessories" position. I find it interesting. This is noticeable when you are standing at a traffic light or in a park. But the Jeep TJ I drive isn't the quietest to begin with, so you don't really notice the clicking sound. If the company ever solves this problem, I hope they reach out to the consumers who bought this product and either replace it with them or halve the price. Another thing is that it works. It replaced the Novita relay which almost failed afterwards
