Fairly stable received a range of 50-60 miles. I came across a topic about adding.

Works well as a "launch" antenna on my FlightAware joystick. Fairly stable received a range of 50-60 miles. I came across a thread about adding the bottom of a soda can as a base layer and decided to give it a try. As soon as I did; I've traveled over 100 miles; couldn't believe the difference. Looks silly with a can of soda, but it works.

Pros

Ideal for embedded, portable or terrestrial ADS-B applications where weight, size and range are important.

Cons

Has been corrupted.
