Worked well with my coffee machine without any problems. I have never changed the one I have had for over a year and it has clogged several times. Easy to change, at least on my car, I pull the shaft and it connects to the water intake below. Slips out easily, I've cleaned mine a few times when I had clogs. As much as I've used it, although it lasts quite a while. New ones were fitted immediately after several hot water cycles. I put a capsule in and it worked well and didn't seem to affect the flavor at all. After cycling I tested the water for turbidity and it was clear. Should last a long time, I always use filtered water so that helps. highlighted.
