Just got this and haven't had time to try it yet, but so far I like the look and it works great . I have a new receiver hitch, new stinger/mount, new ball and I wanted a new lock for my Class A RV to tow my car on a Kar Kaddy SS Dolly. I had a Fulton lock that I've been using for almost 30 years and it still worked great although it looked a bit worn. I have used it to tow my boat and it has sunk hundreds of times over the years and it would just be wrong to put a worn out lock on all new gear. It's just not right. I've read the negative reviews, my motorhome stays indoors and isn't weathered so we'll see if it can even remotely match the old Fulton I had. I don't know how you can expect so much for the price. If it doesn't last I'll order something more expensive and see. One thing I see in reviews is rust, think about it; When your gear is exposed to damp weather, constant moisture, road salt, etc., it will rust. If a person is so worried about the lock rusting, wipe it down with an oiled rag from time to time and it will never rust. Maybe people just aren't that smart.
