I have a couple of prescription readers but I needed to increase the magnification. To avoid costly lens changes, I tried these Foster Grants. Unfortunately, I still prefer my old glasses to these for three reasons: 1. These glasses don't have a high-quality anti-reflective coating. After getting used to the ARC, I found the glare on them uncomfortable. I kept trying to remove the spots that turned out to be reflections.2. These lenses have a slightly pink tint. (Nothing against optimism, but I prefer the metaphor of seeing pink everywhere.) The fishbowl effect is noticeable when used on a computer. Out of the corner of my eye, my monitor looks distorted. Unfortunately, with only 2.0x correction, I have to look past that every time I want to check my readings because of the distortions in the center and at the top of the lenses. On the other hand, purple frames are very beautiful and suit me well.
