I rebuilt my Suzuki Bandit 1250 from Suzuki's own threads to use stock oil filters because Suzuki oil filters suck. Take one apart and inside you'll find what appear to be folded paper towels. Many other popular brands have similar components. How much they actually filter out of the oil.
