These masks consist of two very thin layers of soft fabric. I have a large face and the masks fit comfortably and securely on me. Since the fabric is very soft, it fits my face well even without a nose clip. Since the fabric is very thin and only consists of 2 layers, it is highly breathable and still offers some protection from the sun, wind and dust. They make no anti-virus claims and I would doubt if that were the case. However, to protect against viruses, these masks work well as a double mask over a disposable surgical mask as they fit well and are breathable.
