What can I say? I was a beginner when I first bought it, until I did a little research and bought an actual test kit the next day. When I compared the results from these strips to my main test set, I was surprised at how inaccurate these strips were. The results were a total mess, not to mention missing the most important test for fish farmers. AMMONIA! But to be honest I could have received a defective batch and if so they were easy to use without cleaning. . Just test and discard. If you're a hobbyist, do yourself a favor and save money on a master test kit, it's a lot cheaper than these strips and you'll get MUCH MORE out of them.
