Instructions are useless - does not include proper instructions to show how to fit steel hose nipples into a check valve - overlooks the fact that you must install a brass tip . (Only ferrules used when installing directly into a steel or nylon gas line are shown.) Even after I figured out how to assemble them, the hose nipples ended up at an angle when tightened - eventually becoming the unwanted ones Replaced brass ferrules supplied with better ones. good quality ones from the hardware store and they fit just right. Now I hope it doesn't run out. If I don't plan to work on my machine this weekend I would return it and I can still do so if I find it is leaking after installation. I have purchased many Dorman products in the past and found them to be well below their typical quality and would not purchase another.
