I wanted to install a PWP 2 gallon battery/surge tank in my RV but I also want to bypass it take it out and drain it for winter storage This was the only ball valve I could find with good reviews no leak issues so it was a worth the money try and I am happy so far.The rest of my plumbing for the project was a total of a few bucks worth of 1/2" PVC pipe and fittings, no issues with drinking water like brass which is tasteless and expensive even for 1/2" pieces I used 3-1/2" sliding nipple x 1/2" threaded nipple. 1/2" pipe section. DO NOT USE PVC PIPE CLEANER ON THE GRAY PART OF THE VALVE AND USE MULTIFUNCTIONAL CEMENT. I like the valve as the threaded ends allow the reservoir to be removed, then put the valve back into the system without winterizing the reservoir. You don't have to disable anything else. It can also be moved during connection so I can easily get to the fittings to tighten or loosen.
