I wanted to install a PWP 2 gallon battery/surge tank in my RV but I also want to bypass it take it out and drain it for winter storage This was the only ball valve I could find with good reviews no leak issues so it was a worth the money try and I am happy so far.The rest of my plumbing for the project was a total of a few bucks worth of 1/2" PVC pipe and fittings, no issues with drinking water like brass which is tasteless and expensive even for 1/2" pieces I used 3-1/2" sliding nipple x 1/2"
