Review on πŸ” YONGNUO YN50mm F1.8 Lens with Auto Focus for Canon EF Mount EOS Cameras and Large Aperture by Hideo Tsuchida ᠌

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Not everything is so bad, the average purchase in quality.

So. let's break it all down. Do you have a whale but no bokeh? You must decide what you need this lens for. I call him stupid. well, how do you say? This lens is more for studio shooting. despite the fact that it is fast, it needs a clear pilot light so as not to be stupid. He is slow. it goes the whole distance of the frame. and then like this. wait. let's see again. once again. I summarize. each lens for its own purposes. If you want to save money buy this one. But literally half a year later. you will already be aiming for another. May the light be with you!

Pros
  • Budget half. In principle, a worthy replica.
Cons
  • Slow very slow. Two years later, some problems appeared. In winter, during the shooting, the rubber stuck to the lens body. (I'm from the south) For reasons unknown to me. diaphragm stopped working.

I bought this lens on a hammer, compared it with fifty dollars from canon, they are the same in sharpness, autofocus is the same, the design is more reliable, the aperture blades are 7 versus 5 for canon + the new one costs even less than used hucksters sell.

Terrible model, better save up and buy a decent 50mm 1.4 lens from Canon
