So I bought this to hang on the wall next to my dog bed. He tends to kick in his sleep and unintentionally scratches the paintwork. This article helped solve this problem, except for one small oversight. The parts of the velcro that allow you to put the item on and off are very firmly attached to each other, but they are stronger than the glue that holds the velcro in place. So when I took it off to move it as needed, the glue came off and with it the paint residue. I have a feeling this should work better on a regular door or a glass door, but I would only recommend it for a wall if you can position it correctly on the first try. Considering that he certainly did his job, I give him 4 stars.
