Review on 📡 Enhanced Tram Browning Black 1246-B NMO Trunk Antenna Mount with PL-259 Connector and 17Ft RG-58 Coax Cable by Rob Rogers

Excellent trunk lip mount. Have had it for over 6 months. Worked well for a Bofeng install and works well for my Wouxun KG-UV920 install. I don't see any discoloration or rust on it yet. It was outside in the rain and works perfectly afterwards. FYI, 17 feet is way too long and if you use coax every 17 feet you're wasting a lot of power. I cut the coax to 1.5 feet and installed my rig in my battery case and my signal is much better. If 20 watts go through 17 feet of this RG58 you will lose 3-4 watts. I drive a regular sedan and 17 feet was enough to bring the coax forward when I was in the cab so I could cut off a few feet but I never did until I bought a true mobile rig.
