While I haven't compared the charge times to a standard charger, my 40mm Series 6 charges quickly. It's solid, with a solid weight, and I had no trouble adjusting to get it right. Orientation is great, it's much easier to place the watch where you see it than a standard charger with no charging plate design. Pros: β’ The watch's orientation is slightly skewed so you can see the charge status without having to pick it up or fidget. with alignment (unlike the standard charger). β’ Charges quickly, in my experience at least as fast as a standard charger. β’ Well built; not thin. Although not heavy, it does not move when brushed by hand. β’ The watch fits securely with the band and with no fuss. β’ Have a dial for different sizes. β’ The cable is 3 feet long, which is a solid medium length where it can sit on a bedside table when a USB box is nearby. Disadvantages: β’ USB Type A cable (for charging box) to old Micro USB-b. While this will be familiar to everyone and likely compatible with your charging boxes, it's not very practical for those who have fully switched to USB-C. use your own. β’ I don't understand why this is specifically marketed as travel friendly. It's certainly not big, but it doesn't fold, so it's inconvenient to put in a backpack for travel.
