I read the installation guide before installing this light and it was really easy. Especially when it comes to connecting this via the Smart Life App. Once I was able to add this to the app, turning the lights on and off was a breeze. You can also change the color of the lights, which I found really fun and cool. There are several settings you can use to change the "mood" and the lights slowly change to other colors in this setting. I had to take it down as we needed to rewire some parts of our house and the light was one of them. However, removal was as easy as installing this fixture. Another thing I love about this lantern is that the lantern's lid just twists and pops off when it gets dirty. I can hand wash it with a sponge, let it dry and close the light. As a warning, do not turn on the light without a cover as the light is very bright and can be dimmed, but when it is on it is at its brightest and can be a bit glaring.
