Review on 🚽 Cotton White Plumbing CST243EFR-01 by Alex Smith

The reason I replaced my cheap $75 toilet was because I thought it was noisy to wake people up at night and now , where I have a tenant with a shared wall that allows home conferencing to work, I needed to do something about it and it was time to upgrade and buy a better toilet as I figured quieter couldn't get any worse . NOT CORRECT . This toilet is so loud I can't believe it. from start to finish Unfortunately, now that it's installed I have to spend time isolating and clipping out the noise. #1. The bowl is deep in the front so the pee is loud and no matter how you sit or what angle you urinate at, it's loud #2. The initial flush gulps air/water loudly, even a short one or holding the handle for a long time doesn't change anything Sound #3 Water dripping onto the filler in the tank is a strong air spray sound. My walls are already insulated, as is the ceiling. I'm going to try installing a thin rigid tank liner using 1/2 inch foam plus styrofoam around the fill. Let's see if that helps. Also the old toilet in front was shallow like a ramp but this toilet is deep. up front, i'm thinking of buying a ceramic mix and making a little solid ramp call me crazy you won't believe it yourself but you have to do something but ripping out that toilet bowl and replacing it isn't an option yet.
