I got this leash for my old timer. He's always been a good boy, but a puller on walks because he loves to sniff off the trail. The choke leash, at this age and after many years of training, is a gentle reminder to a stubborn old buddy.It's a good leash. Strong, comfortable and easy to use. I like the foam, cushion handle. The attachment parts have held up in rain and humidity. It seems comfortable about my dog's neck and it's nice that it's a simple, smooth surface instead of prongs.But you'd think that a simple smooth surface would slide in and out of the loop easily. Unfortunately, if a squirrel piques his interest he suddenly pulled, or if I pull the leash in to keep him under control, the loop does not always release back to a loose fit. In fact, it usually does not fully become loose again. It's not completely tight either, but there is only about 30-50 % return to the original position. So I have to stop and readjust the loop to something more comfortable looking.Other than that bit of annoyance, its been great for walks and taunting squirrel who are too fast for this old pup anyway.
