I'm someone who likes the portability of a laptop. I don't stay in the same room as the computer, I can take it with me. Also, I'm a gamer, which means I have nowhere to put my laptop - I need it on a solid, comfortable surface that offers stability and ventilation. This table is perfect for my personal needs for a perfect desk. Here's my list of the pros and cons of each. Pros: - LOVE that it's super light - It's the perfect size for my Toshiba Satellite, haven't tried it with a thicker Dell but for Toshiba it's just great - I have a large laptop and it fits perfectly with some space ( an inch or two to stay on the side) - It's made out of aluminum so it's strong and durable! - The black ventilated kneeling table comes with a small side tray that can be attached easily and effortlessly for your mouse, and the good thing is that you don't even need a mouse pad, but I prefer to use one. The table top has enough lip to prevent the laptop from sliding even if the table top is at an angle BUT they have two top clips for extra anti-slip protection / to accommodate thicker laptops. This table has two fans and they seem decent enough. They're very quiet and do a great job of keeping my laptop cool as a cucumber when playing CPU/GPU intensive games like Rift. Usually an expensive fan is needed to play this game on a desk BUT your laptop will be kept aloft with a clean and light flow of air, no wooden or stone desk will suffocate your PC so there are more than enough fans on the Desk to satisfy every player. Well if you have a dinosaur laptop and are trying to play resource intensive games. It will not be ideal for you as most likely your laptop is not up to date and can hardly handle such games. So expect your laptop to work. Aside from being hot - there's no other fix for an 'old' laptop other than unfortunately getting a new one. - I love that I have the option to turn the fans on or off with a switch. Facing the user and under the table top is a small black on/off switch. There's also a USB cord that plugs into your laptop as a power source, and it's detachable so it's not hanging around under your desk when you're not using it. - The legs on the table move in an incredible way. These little suction cups can't move at any angle and can be positioned in many different ways to pick up literally any angle/tilt/descend. There are times I put one foot in one direction and the other at a different angle for stability on odd slopes. Sometimes I'm on the surface where the right side of the laptop is lower than the left and this laptop is the answer. Stability from every angle for me. This laptop doesn't really shake or shake, I mean when you kick it. or hit him, but he never falls over (although anything falls over with enough force), he never gets close to him, thank goodness. - It folds very, very thin. I can slip it under anything and nobody sees how thin it is. Under the bed, even under the sofa. It's not bulky. Cons: - I wish the mouse pad on the side tray was a bit bigger, it's more than enough for me in the time I've been using this lap table, but I like having some free space. - The aluminum legs have plastic connections, I'm not sure if that plastic is a cover for aluminum or if it's really plastic. It appears to be hard plastic, but I've had no luck with plastic at all. I'm a little scared it will break in the future. I'm a woman with long nails and the buttons on each leg to adjust them give me a bit of trouble. Sometimes they are hard to press when only the tip of my fingernail can reach the button to press. Sometimes my nail bends in a painful way, sometimes my nail just breaks, so I started using small metal objects to press the buttons. I like this table the most and I am very satisfied with it in every way. . It's light and strong, pleasing to the eye and just looks cool! Anything that allows me to use my laptop comfortably on the floor or in bed while leaning against a wall or sitting on a sofa, chair or whatever fascinates me. One of my best buys so far! If it breaks tomorrow I'll order another one the same day, I'm so happy with it. 15 out of 10 plus points from me.
