I bought this stand for my new Samsung S6 tablet because my old stand didn't fit this tablet because it is thinner than other Samsung tablets. This stand is SO HEAVY compared to any other tablet stand I've had, but it also makes it a lot sturdier. The only issue I've had so far is that it's not smooth at all when switching from landscape to portrait mode, but I also note that the stand is still fairly new. I'll have to experiment with where the stand grips my tablet to see if that's part of what's preventing it from rotating smoothly. I play games in both landscape and portrait modes, so being able to easily switch between the two is important.
