I've been trying to cut buffalo leather with the sharpest knife I have, a new stationery knife, a desktop paper cutter and diagonals. This tool gave me the straightest cuts. When using other instruments, the skin is more deformed, and at the end of the cut the edge becomes indirect. This tool gave me the best cuts. Before I received it I thought it would be overpriced but I think it's actually good value for money.
