Review on Optimize Performance with Airaid 510-621 PowerAid Throttle Body Spacer by Robert Oner

NO PROBLEMS HERE for fuel injection

I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE CUTTING THE ENGINE COVER! If you are looking for a miracle, look elsewhere. I always had (from day one) a spare K&N filter prior to installation, which has always worked fine for me. With this filter, I always noticed a slight "whistle" at certain speeds. Again, this is all BEFORE installing this Airaid. After installing Airaid, I warmed up my engine and then hit the road. For every man, including me, the first impulse is going to be to hit the damn pedal. Do this and you will be disappointed. As stated in the product, it provides an increase in torque at the LOW END. I REALLY feel it - and it's not bullshit. But that's not the holy grail of power upgrades you dream about while waiting to be mailed. The difference in performance is like one day deviating from your regular unleaded petrol and paying for super unleaded. Did you notice this difference? How the truck drives a little differently – like this. Honestly, what can you expect from an $80 bolt-on product? With my stock airbox and K&N filter, the whistle I heard before Airaid no longer exists. Instead, what I hear is more of the suction/vacuum noise (no, not as loud as a vacuum cleaner). For me there is no annoying whistling, other than a small noise at higher revs at full throttle - but again, no annoying noises. If noise bothers you, stay in camp! If you don this when looking for a performance boost, chances are you won't mind a little tone. Right? Let's face it, we associate power with the rumble of pipes and the whir of turbochargers - so what's so creepy about a little whistle? If noise bothers you then you are out of your element. So here's the breakdown: I don't think this is a miracle product (there's nothing quite like it). I don't think you will be disappointed considering the price. Throttle response is smoother. I find the acceleration less labor intensive and the acceleration at low speeds smoother. I believe the potential of these pads can be unlocked with FIPK (my next upgrade). great price for the difference it has shown so far. I recommend it, even for $90. Quit trying to decide based on reviews and bring the damn thing out so you can draw your own conclusions. At this price, it's a worthy upgrade. Ps I can't comment on gas savings or mileage. I just installed it 30 minutes ago. Common sense, but if you're constantly pressing the pedal, checking it, trying to 'feel' it, then guess where your gas mileage will go?
