Adjustable - very high pitch. Even at the highest settings it still has sound, but most of it just comes from the movement of the air blowing into it. My biggest complaint is that I seem to lose her. I put them on my keychain and they can work on their own. Use a mount to prevent it from slipping down and losing the whistle leaving only the thread.
