I ordered the right size. Slipped on my boy. Fits exactly. BUT. I don't understand how this is supposed to work. Pulling on the D-ring that attaches to the sheet does nothing except tighten the leash. The secondary loop is just a collar. It really only adds 4 inches to the leash. Photo 1 at rest. Photo 2 pulls like her. The collar circumference has not changed. I wanted to send it back but unfortunately it can't be removed so I had to cut it off. There is no buckle and I can't fit the recommended size over my head. They sit well on the ears, but cannot slip off. And the secondary circle hangs, and I'm afraid that it will catch on something. Order one with a quick release buckle and a working mechanism that actually tightens the collar. Then I can just use it when we go out instead of walking. It's a mystery to me how there are so many positive reviews. It was cheap enough that I can throw it away. Brand name I recognized (PetSafe) but damn it makes sense, should be above my salary.
