These were the best value slides after a month of looking for my son. They fit exactly as expected. They are all a single piece of plastic(?) with no pads or pads like some slides have. That was nice for us because his previous pair had a pillow that stayed wet for a long time if he got wet at the beach or in the pool. These dry quickly. The part of the sole that touches the foot is lightly textured. So if your child is prone to sensory things, this is worth considering. At first my 10 year old wasn't happy with it but after wearing it once or twice he doesn't notice anymore. I would buy them again.
