As a former elementary school teacher, I love the science and math aspects of this toy that can be used with a STEM program. You can just see the little engineers' heads forming in front of your eyes as you play. My kids are small (2 1/2 and 9 months) but my 2 1/2 has already learned her shapes so this is a good overview for her and a way for her to learn shapes (number of sides, composition of them putting them together, matching shapes to build, etc. The learning opportunities with this toy are endless and although my daughter is still a bit young she keeps her busy and interested. I am a big fan of learning through play and that is what this one is toy matters offers.
