Review on πŸ”Œ High-performance Compact Flash CF to 3.5 Female 40 Pin IDE Bootable Adapter - Streamline Data Transfer & Enhanced Compatibility by Mark Glass

Revainrating 5 out of 5

No instructions for computers and accessories

UPDATE: I finally got it working. As someone else mentioned, there were pins that had almost no solder that needed fixing. Also, pin 1 is at the power connector end. Format the drive and copy the CAB to a CF card, boot from a floppy or CD, and then install from the CF. Much luck. OLD REVIEW: There was no documentation for this card. It didn't even have pin 1 marked on the IDE connector. The computer didn't recognize it, so I tried it in another one and it wasn't recognized there either. Maybe it's configuration related, but without the documentation I don't know where to start. I upgraded my rating to 4 stars because other reviews say it worked right out of the box, I have to assume it's just a bad card. The return window closed but it was my fault for taking too long to get it working.
