Review on Etna Pet Play Pen Large by Julie Phillips

Nothing for energetic runaways!

Although I give this product one star, I personally like it. However, I see that most people have a lot of problems and I really don't recommend it. When my rescue dog came to me I was told that she hated cages. She spent many years of her life in a cage 24/7. I had to find something that would keep her locked up, but something that wouldn't scare her. I stumbled across this playpen and the smaller one. I bought both. She loves it, as does my other dog (although he loves everything). My dogs are special needs, senior dogs with no teeth and weigh 10 pounds combined. If both want to get out of the arena and lean on it, it will tip over. The playpen falls apart at the seams and some dogs can squeeze through. This playpen is so cheap and stinks of plastic all day long. If your dog wants to get rid of this thing, it can be done. If you have a quiet dog that likes to sleep and relax and is low on energy, then this playpen is for you. Otherwise, you definitely want something more permanent.

Pros
  • The best in its niche
Cons
  • Not everything fits
