We have been using this product all summer. I have to say if he works on it! Just a quick pass over the weeds and in a day or two they will dry up and disappear. It has really become a maintenance task and no longer a permanent time-consuming activity. We have a large patio that is paved with cobblestones and weeds are growing there all the time, as is our gravel cover, and it's great for these tasks. ONE PROBLEM - which turns out to be pretty important when you're playing with fire (literally). The handle that starts, controls and stops the propane flow is TERRIBLE. At first it was very difficult to turn it on, and then it got worse, we can't turn it on manually. I need tongs and my wife can't turn them off by hand - IMO this is a serious design flaw. In theory, a great product. It works! However, if you value being able to easily turn the gas on and (more importantly) off, then you might want to consider another option. UPDATE - contacted the company through their website. I called there and discussed a few things. They were very responsive and asked me to remove the valve, try lubricating the threads on the knob and see if that helped. And it really looks like it! Back to good work. They refund points for good customer support.
